Run the house and the clinical record on one system
AgenciesForge is software for recovery housing and adult residential programs. It runs house operations (bed board, versioned house rules residents acknowledge, chore rotation, curfew and passes, the resident ledger for program fees, naloxone stock) alongside charting, and bills Medicaid for treatment services through the included clearinghouse. A house-manager permission lets staff run the house without being able to edit clinical charts. Plans start at $199 a month for up to 50 residents, with unlimited staff.
Setting up is free. You pay when you go live. Unlimited clinicians on every agency plan.
The whole chart on one screen
Diagnoses, medications, care plan, notes and outcome scores together — not five tabs and a PDF viewer.

What a residential program gets
Beds and census
A bed board for every house, admissions and discharges, and a reconciliation that catches beds marked occupied with no resident in them.
House rules that are signed
Rules are versioned per house. Residents acknowledge the current version in their portal, and a change re-opens sign-off for everyone.
Chores, curfew and passes
A chore rotation balanced on time, not headcount; curfew check-ins scored night by night; pass requests residents submit and staff approve.
Resident ledger and portal
Program fees and payments on each resident's ledger. Residents see their chores, house rules, meetings and balance in the portal.
Safety and compliance
Naloxone stock and administrations, incidents, inspections, visitor logs, and a record of fair housing decisions.
Recovery capital and early warning
A recovery capital score and relapse early-warning tier built from the signals the house records, with the reasons shown so staff can act.
What to check in any residential software
Whichever product you choose, these separate house software from a spreadsheet:
- Can a house manager run chores, curfew and passes without being able to edit clinical charts?
- Are house rules versioned, with a record of which version each resident agreed to?
- Do program fees and treatment billing stay separate, so neither gets lost?
- Does curfew and screen data feed anything, or is it just logged?
- If you provide treatment, is Medicaid billing built in or a second system?
Pricing
| Plan | Per month | Active patients | Clinicians |
|---|---|---|---|
| EHR Starter | $199 | Up to 50 | Unlimited |
| EHR Professional | $499 | Up to 200 | Unlimited |
| EHR Enterprise | $1,099 | Up to 500 | Unlimited |
No setup fee on these plans, and the clearinghouse is included. Programs still working through state licensing can start on a certification plan.
Is it the right fit?
A good fit
- Recovery residences and sober living homes
- Adult residential treatment programs billing Medicaid
- Operators running several houses from one account
- Programs that share or look for open beds with other programs
Probably not a fit
- Hospitals and inpatient psychiatric units
- Programs with more than 500 active residents (talk to us about a custom plan)
Questions owners ask
What software should a recovery housing or adult residential program use?
One that runs the house and the clinical record together, so a missed curfew, a failed screen and a treatment note land on the same resident. AgenciesForge covers house operations (beds, house rules, chores, curfew, passes, program fees, naloxone) and, for programs that provide treatment, charting and Medicaid claims through the included clearinghouse.
Can it bill Medicaid?
For treatment services, yes: eligibility checks, claims, acknowledgments and remittance run through the clearinghouse included in every plan. Room and program fees are tracked separately on each resident's ledger.
How do house rules work?
Each house publishes its rules as a version. Residents read and acknowledge the current version in their portal; when the rules change, a new version goes out and everyone acknowledges again, so you always know who agreed to what.
Does it help spot a resident at risk of relapse?
It computes a recovery capital score and an early-warning tier from signals the house already records: curfew compliance, screen results, house meeting attendance, program-fee standing and incidents, plus the supports recorded at intake. Each score shows the reasons behind it, and staff decide what to do.
Can we find open beds at other programs?
Yes. Programs can opt in to share open beds, search other participating programs' availability, and send and receive referrals.
Is it priced per staff member?
No. Every plan includes unlimited staff, including house managers who aren't clinicians. The price is set by active residents: $199 a month for up to 50, $499 for up to 200, $1,099 for up to 500.
