AveeCare runs the ops. AgenciesForge runs the whole agency.
AveeCare is a genuinely good, low-cost home-care platform — scheduling, 50-state EVV, real claims (837P/837I, ERA), OASIS-E2, a polished document drive, and “Avee,” an AI that can run most of the office — at $6 per patient. If you're a small, already-licensed home-careagency, it's a strong, affordable fit — and we'll tell you so.
AgenciesForge is different in kind. It gets an agency certified and billing-ready (AveeCare doesn't), runs the full skilled episode around OASIS — 485, PDGM, Notice of Admission — on a managed clearinghouse with denial auto-appeals, and puts an agentic clinical AIat the center of the work. One platform for behavioral health, DD/IDD waiver, skilled home health, home care, residential, and pediatric — lines AveeCare, by its own definition, doesn't serve.

What AveeCare does well that's worth naming
Price at the low end.$6/patient with no minimum, no setup fee, and a free first month is genuinely hard to beat for a small, already-licensed agency. If you have 10–20 patients and only need scheduling, EVV, and invoices, AveeCare will cost less than our $199/mo floor. We're the better value once you scale or once real claims, certification, or clinical depth matter.
Real claims and real OASIS — not a toy.AveeCare generates 837P/837I, posts 835 ERA, and produces a validated OASIS-E2 file for iQIES. It's a legitimate billing platform, and we won't pretend otherwise. Where we pull ahead is the surrounding revenue engine — a bundled managed clearinghouse, eligibility, PDGM/NOA episode logic, and denial/underpayment intelligence that learns from your own remits.
A cohesive document “Drive.”AveeCare's file room — OCR, semantic search across scanned pages, form mapping, packets, and workflow routing — is a polished, dedicated module. AgenciesForge has the pieces (vision OCR, AI-routed fax, audit bundles, FHIR export) but not yet a single unified drive experience.
Hospice.AveeCare markets hospice; AgenciesForge doesn't serve it today. If hospice is your primary line, AveeCare is the better fit and we'll say so.
Where AgenciesForge is a different league
- Certification + launch. Nobody in this comparison gets you licensed. AgenciesForge does — state-specific, per service line, from idea to billing-ready. Timelines vary by state: skilled home health in a Certificate-of-Need state takes substantially longer than the ~60-day arc, and we tell you which before you start.
- The whole Medicare episode, on a managed rail. Both can bill; only AgenciesForge wraps OASIS in 485 / PDGM / NOA / HIPPS, bundles the clearinghouse, and adds eligibility, denial auto-appeals, and underpayment intelligence that learns from your remits — instead of you connecting and paying a clearinghouse yourself.
- Agentic clinical AI, not just office AI. Operate by voice or chat: draft the note from an ambient recording, audit the claim, appeal the denial, e-prescribe, record the visit, reason across the chart — the clinical + revenue work, not only scheduling and forms.
- One platform across service lines AveeCare doesn't serve. BH, DD/IDD waiver, skilled home health, home care, residential + a cross-agency bed network, and pediatric — with service-mix-aware tooling, not a single home-care model stretched thin.
Common questions
Is AgenciesForge more expensive than AveeCare's $6/patient?
At a very small roster, AveeCare's $6/patient with no minimum is cheaper — 10 patients is ~$60/mo versus our $199/mo EHR floor. The math flips as you grow: our EHR Professional plan is $499/mo for up to 200 patients (~$2.50/patient) and Enterprise is $1,099/mo for up to 500 (~$2.20/patient) — with unlimited clinician and caregiver seats and the Stedi clearinghouse bundled, so you're not also paying per-claim fees to a separate vendor. Above roughly 35–80 patients AgenciesForge is typically cheaper per patient AND includes far more (certification, Medicare RCM, agentic AI). If you're a tiny private-pay shop that only needs scheduling + EVV + invoices, AveeCare's price is hard to beat and we'll say so.
We're launching a brand-new agency. Can AveeCare help us get certified?
No — AveeCare runs an agency that already exists. AgenciesForge's core differentiator is the launch arc: a state-specific certification pipeline (70 documents across 8 phases, all 50 states, for behavioral health, DD/IDD, skilled home health, and non-medical home care), Medicaid/MCO enrollment, and go-live. If part of your goal is to actually become licensed and billing-ready, AveeCare has nothing here and we're purpose-built for it.
Both do EVV, billing, and OASIS now. What's actually different?
The difference isn't whether they exist — it's the depth and how much is turnkey. Billing: AveeCare generates CMS-1500 / 837P / 837I, posts 835 ERA, does multi-payer splits and pre-billing QA, and connects to a clearinghouse you bring (Availity, Optum, Waystar, Trizetto, Office Ally). AgenciesForge bundles a MANAGED Stedi clearinghouse (no second vendor or per-claim contract), adds 270/271 eligibility, denial auto-appeals, underpayment detection, and fee-schedule/payer-quirk learning that gets smarter from your own remits. OASIS: both produce a CMS-conformant OASIS-E2 file you upload to iQIES yourself — near-parity there — but AgenciesForge wraps it in the full skilled episode: 485 plan of care, PDGM/HIPPS, Notice of Admission, and a conversational ambient-scribe OASIS interview. If your revenue is Medicare/Medicaid episodes rather than private-pay + basic claims, the wrapper is where the money is.
AveeCare has 'Avee' and it can do a lot now. Isn't that the same AI?
Avee is a real, capable OPS copilot — natural-language scheduling, report generation, an AI form builder, OCR, summaries; it can drive most actions in their app, and that's genuinely good. The difference is domain. AI Forge is an agentic CLINICAL + billing + compliance backbone: it drafts session notes and OASIS narratives from an ambient recording, runs a 15-point pre-submit claim audit, writes and auto-files denial appeals and prior-auth requests, drives ePrescribing (EPCS) and eligibility, and reasons across the whole chart by voice — with ~280 tools. Avee helps you run the office; AI Forge does the clinical and revenue work.
Which verticals does each one handle?
By its own definition AveeCare is 'primarily built for non-medical home care' and explicitly excludes skilled nursing, therapy, hospice, behavioral health, and most Medicaid outside Arizona — though it has real OASIS-E2 + 837I, so it's clearly moving toward skilled. AgenciesForge covers behavioral health, DD/IDD waiver, skilled home health (HHC), non-medical home care, residential / recovery housing, and a native pediatric vertical (growth percentiles, EPSDT/Bright Futures, ACIP immunizations, IDEA IFSP/IEP, private-duty nursing) — with deep tooling in each (state DD authorities, BH state programs like OhioRISE/CANS, a recovery-housing module + cross-agency bed network, ePrescribing/EPCS). One honest gap: we don't do hospice — if that's your primary line, AveeCare is the better fit and we'll say so.
How do agencies usually move over?
Export your client, caregiver, and visit directory from AveeCare as CSVs, import into AgenciesForge → Patients, configure EVV for your state, and train staff on the AI Forge dictation flow (most learn it in ~15 minutes). Agencies that need certification start there first; agencies already operating cut over clinical + billing and keep AveeCare only if they need it for a vertical we don't serve.

Book a 30-minute walkthrough — bring a live client and a recent claim, and we'll show you the certification pipeline, the full 485 / PDGM / NOA episode around OASIS, the 15-point claim audit, and denial auto-appeal — the revenue engine AveeCare doesn't have. If you're a small private-pay or hospice shop that just needs clean home-care ops, we'll tell you AveeCare is the better fit.
